Acqua di Gio Acqua for Life is the second limited edition released by Giorgio Armani for the "Acqua for Life" campaign in coordination with UNICEF. This campaign, which promises 100 liters of drinking water for children in Ghana and Bolivia per bottle purchased, came with a a limited edition bottle, marked by a characteristic blue wave pattern.

Giorgio Armani never confirmed that the Acqua for Life  formula was different than the original Acqua di Gio, or the previous year's Acqua for Life release, but wearers have noted that the formula in these limited edition bottles wears saltier - a noticeable enough difference that this bottling has become fairly rare and coveted.
